I hardly take selfies. But I just felt like taking this one because I had something I wanted to post on instagram @timiadigun and I needed a picture to do so.
I remember turning a few times, snapping, checking, assessing and deciding on which to post and which not to.
I consciously looked around my hotel room to be sure I used the best background. I put on the beautiful lights (I loved the lights in my room) and even had to open the curtains to increase the brightness/illumination of the room.
But I have a question to ask. Please indulge me.
Why do we take so much time to ‘look’ good to people when we hardly take time to ‘be’ good.
Character development seems on the bottom of the list when compared with talent, wealth, skill or career development.
But like a good saying goes: “YOUR TALENT WILL GET YOU TO THE TOP BUT ONLY CHARACTER WILL KEEP YOU THERE”.
I love you!
